Creationism: bad science, bad religion, bad education
The roots of 'creationism' - the belief that the world was created a few thousand years ago exactly as described in Genesis - can be traced back to the completely fallacious chronology of scripture propounded by Archbishop of Armagh James Ussher (1581-1656) who set the date of the creation of the world at 23 October 4004BC.

The Antiquity of Man
In existence since 07 July 1999, the site has quickly grown to fill the role of a comprehensive academic website covering the range of palaeoanthropology and archaeology. Presented here are summaries of current academic thinking, research projects and debates. The number of archaeological research avenues, both past and present, are enormous.

The site is comprised of three focus areas: Ancient Egypt (covering the Predynastic and Early Dynastic periods, up until the end of the Fourth Dynasty), hominin evolution, and exposing the vacuum of pseudoscience:

UK-Skeptics This site has been set up to provide a balance to the uncritical promotion and acceptance of extraordinary and controversial claims in the UK today.

Science Just Science
Science develops understanding of the universe by application of the scientific method and the peer review process. Science is unique because it is universal; it works in any language and for everyone, everywhere. Only science should be taught in a science classroom because to teach anything else gives the erroneous impression that science is made of opinion and therefore can be different for different people. It is wrong to mislead students in this way for any reason and to do so because of cultural or personal preferences is antithetical to science to the point of anathema. We believe that it is necessary to instruct educators to reserve science classrooms for science alone because of the understandable pressures they feel to impose doctrinal dogma on their students as has been seen in the past and is continuing to this day. We ask that the science classroom be reserved for science, just science.
