Comment (reply to Coun Jim Wright)

< 1 > So you should be impressed with these schools, after all, they are brand new & are schools that a government which has wasted billions on projects such as the Millenium Dome & a futile war, without as much as flinching, can EASILY afford to finance, without resorting to gimmicks such as involving religious extremists in their running. As for being impressed with the pupils, are you implying you would not be impressed with the pupils from any other school you were invited to look around?

< 2 > In other words Coun Jim Wright you have no morals or principles & believe anything goes, including teaching children superstition & undermining their understanding of science in exchange for a new school. (Which could be funded by other, more ethical means – if people like you had the guts to stand up to the Government more & demanded them) Also, where does this sort of logic stop, would you for example, sanction the teaching of Flat Earth Creationism to children in exchange for a new school?

< 3 > That’s nice Coun Wright, how convenient for you that opposing views just happen to be, “political dogma”. Now perhaps you would like to explain why Peter Vardy should be allowed to force his absurd religious views onto other peoples children (in many cases against the wishes of the parents – I cannot see many atheists being happy about having their children exposed to creationism) just because he has a lot of money.
