This FAQ is a collection of counterarguments to the claims made creationists & their supporters.

One of the problems of debating creationists is that they tend to fire off assertions in staccato bursts on subjects across a range of disciplines, any one of which could require an expert in the chosen field to answer.

This technique is so well known, that it has a name – the Gish Gallop. See

Here is An example of the Gish Gallop

This form of argument requires very little thought from the creationist, who simply has to remember a list of claims, which he or she then regurgitates.

In fact, there is no need for them even to remember these arguments as they can readily be found by the ream on creationist websites. All they have to do is simply cut & paste a list of them & force their opponents to spend hours writing refutations that are then totally ignored.

When complete, this Wiki will contain a comprehensive list of counterarguments to creationist’s claims that can be used against them in debates.

Michael Stuttkus uses this technique for Dealing with the Gish Gallop

Finally, the best form of defence is attack. Make them justify their claims; after all, they are the ones making them. For example, go to:

& copy & paste them a list of questions picked at random from those mentioned.
